Saddle Up Talent Show

Armistead Pavilion – Sunday – 2:00 p.m.

PRIZES: 1st – $250   2nd – $200   3rd – $150   4th – $100   5th – $50    All Others – $35

  • Amateur Country & Western singing or instrumental only.
  • For the purposes of this Talent Show, an “amateur” is defined as a person who engages in music for pleasure instead of for substantial financial benefit or professional reasons.
  • Open to either individual or groups.
  • Must be 13 years of age or older. Family performance groups may be accepted; it will be at the discretion of the organizer of this event.
  • Pre-registration is recommended as only the first 12 entries will be accepted.
  • Registration will include the completion of an Entry and Waiver Release Form. This form is available from the contact person listed above or can be found on the Lansdowne Fair website under the tab “Entry Forms”.
  • Rules & Regulations 2024 Saddle Up Talent Show.
  • No profanity or vulgar lyrics or performances – this is a family show. In addition, no alcohol, tobacco or drug advertisements on any clothing. The Contact person has the right to terminate inappropriate performances.
  • Judges’ scores are based on:

Overall Performance (1 – 20 points)      
Audience Response (1 – 10 points)
Stage Appearance (1 – 10 points)          
Originality (1- 10)
Personality (1- 10 points)

for a maximum possible 60 points less
any penalty points for time over the 5-minute limit.

  • The decisions of the judges are final and represent their personal opinions, not necessarily those of the Lansdowne Agricultural Society.
